A Booklyn internship introduces interns to the role of artwork and social justice materials within the education market.

All Booklyn internships are conducted virtually and primarily focus on a large-scale cataloging project. Interns will get hands-on experience with data transfer processes, basic image editing in Photoshop, and an understanding of metadata structuring that dialogues both with university & public libraries as well as the retail market.

Interns should have an interest in or be willing to learn about the following:

  • art & artists’ books
  • social justice & activism
  • education
  • libraries & archival practice¬†
  • self-publishing
  • arts administration

Internship applications are evaluated on a rolling basis. To apply send resume, cover letter, and availability (hours per week/start date) to hello@booklyn.org.
