Beacons Along the Way is inspired by the opening scene of Aeschylus’ Agamemnon. Athens was informed of the fall of Troy via a string of beacon fires, each signaling the next. This image is invoked as a metaphor for all the warnings we choose to heed or not to heed in the present moment. For example, the cascading failures of environmental and societal collapse. At the center, a wary chorus of the dispossessed gathers and observes.

Silkscreened and stenciled accordion book on acid-free French cover stock. Stenciled endpapers function as “covers”, and it’s printed in two sections, joined with a paper hinge.
