A variable edition of three books, this is the first collaboration between long time Booklyn artist and curator Marshall Weber and Milwaukee based artist Raoul Deal, who is best known for his large woodcuts and paintings and his dedication to community service and capacity building through art and activism.

Collaging Deal’s woodcut portraits and testimony of various Mexican immigrants with vintage US Geological Survey maps of that sometimes include Native American reservations (courtesy of Northwestern University Libraries) and handwritten lyrics from Violeta Parra’s love song to the planet Gracias a la Vida, Weber weave’s concepts of intersectionality though a homage to Pan-American indigenous sovereignty, and the celebration of immigration.
