Driven by questions about displacement and refuge, history and experience, Friends, Peace, & Sanctuary explores art’s capacity to build empathy and create a deeper sense of belonging. The project brings together United States of American, Syrian, Iraqi, and Egyptian artists, educators, and culture workers in numerous collaborations centered around the creation of artists' books, poetry, and social networking.
