Justseeds Artists’ Cooperative is a decentralized network of 24 artists committed to making print and design work that reflects a social, environmental, and political stance. With members working from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, Justseeds operates both as a unified collaboration of similarly minded printmakers and as a loose collection of creative individuals with unique viewpoints and working methods. Justseeds members produce collective portfolios, contribute graphics to grassroots struggles for justice, work collaboratively both inside and outside the coop, build large sculptural installations in galleries, and wheat paste on the streets – all while offering each other daily support as allies and friends.

Contained in this box is an annotated collection of work representative of the cooperative, including screenprints, block prints, offset posters, publications, and other ephemera. This work is culled from the past five years of Justseeds production, and it provides an in-depth look at the collective’s combined output, the social themes it addresses, and the diversity and commonalities of Justseeds aesthetics.
